4th Quarter Report (Biography Report): DUE, Thursday, May 22nd
In order to increase your child’s interest even further in the Middle Ages, they will present an oral biography about a person from this time period. Your student was assigned a person to research. We have been learning about several people from the Middle Ages, and your student picked the name of a person from the Middle Ages. The project is worth 100 points. Please make sure that work is done by the student only. Please find more information in your student's binder. All pages of the packet must be turned in and completed by the student.
Catapult Competition: Thursday, May 29th: Please only bring in catapults and marshmallows the day of the competition.
This is a fast, fun, and easy activity to build together with your child! We learned about the Middle Ages this year, so it seems appropriate to build a medieval invention. Each student can make one catapult and bring it to school for a fun and friendly competition.
* You may also choose to design your own catapult, but it must be small enough for your child to carry on their own.
* We will be using marshmallows to launch during the competition. You may want to practice at home to ensure that your catapult is ready to compete.
* Each student will need to bring in a bag of regular sized marshmallows.
